Wie wir bereits in unserem letzten Beitrag erkl\u00e4rt haben, Wolke<\/a> ist eine Plattform f\u00fcr die Bereitstellung von Diensten, die in drei Hauptkategorien eingeteilt werden k\u00f6nnen. Diese Kategorien sind SaaS, PaaS und IaaS. In diesem Beitrag werden wir erkl\u00e4ren, was SaaS ist.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

SaaS<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

SaaS steht f\u00fcr Software as a Service und bedeutet Software, die Dienstleistungen anbietet. Es gibt Unterschiede zwischen diesen Diensten und denen, die uns andere Software bietet. Der Hauptunterschied besteht darin, dass diese Dienste auf der Cloud-Plattform und ihren Funktionen beruhen. Werfen wir einen Blick auf die Zeit vor der Entstehung von SaaS und sehen wir uns an, was der Grund f\u00fcr ihre Entstehung war.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Die Vorgeschichte von SaaS<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Das zentralisierte Hosting von Software geht auf die 1960er Jahre zur\u00fcck. Damals boten Unternehmen wie IBM oder andere Mainframe-Anbieter diese Dienste als Verarbeitungswerkzeug an. Das hei\u00dft, wenn ein Prozess zu umfangreich war, um auf einem lokalen System ausgef\u00fchrt zu werden, nutzten sie diese, um den Prozess auszuf\u00fchren. In den 1990er Jahren ASP<\/a> oder Application Service Providers ins Spiel kamen. Ein Application Service Provider ist eine Drittpartei, die kommerzielle Softwareanwendungen und die dazugeh\u00f6rigen Dienste online anbietet.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

SaaS ist eigentlich eine Weiterentwicklung der Idee von ASP. Bei den ersten ASP-Angeboten mussten Sie die Software auch auf Ihrem Computer installieren. Bei Software as a Service k\u00f6nnen Sie jedoch nur \u00fcber den Browser auf die Softwareanwendung zugreifen!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Heutzutage wird Software as a Service \u00fcberall auf der Welt als webbasierte Software eingesetzt.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Merkmale von Software as a Service<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
    \r\n
  1. Cloud-basiert<\/strong><\/li>\r\n
  2. Zugriff auf die Software \u00fcber das Internet<\/strong><\/li>\r\n
  3. Zentralisierte Verwaltung der Software<\/strong><\/li>\r\n
  4. Die Benutzer m\u00fcssen die Software nicht verwalten oder aktualisieren.<\/strong><\/li>\r\n
  5. API oder Anwendungsprogrammierschnittstelle machen SaaS m\u00f6glich<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

    Dropbox ist ein Beispiel f\u00fcr Software as a Service. Dies war eine der ersten L\u00f6sungen f\u00fcr die webbasierte Datenspeicherung.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
